Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan Executives in Baden-Württemberg
Strengthening international ties in the healthcare sector remains a central focus of Germany’s foreign trade initiatives. As part of this effort, 17 senior executives from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have been in Baden-Württemberg for the Partnering in Business with Germany programme.
The initiative, launched by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and implemented by the Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, offers international decision-makers both management training and direct access to German industry. Framework of this high-level leadership programme is the Export-Akademie’s IMLead® Heptathlon Concept for Management & Leadership.
The programme began with a session at Human IT Service GmbH, during which the delegation discussed the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. Since then, participants have taken part in a wide-ranging schedule that combines training modules in management & leadership with hands-on business engagement.
Highlights included:
- Visits to leading companies such as Erbe Group, Aesculap (US), KARL STORZ, and others
- Attendance at international trade fairs including REHACARE – International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care and expopharm
- Targeted B2B meetings with German businesses
By combining high-level training with practical exposure, the programme equips executives with the tools to identify opportunities in global markets while fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with German companies.
Looking ahead, the initiative continues to play a key role in creating sustainable bridges between international markets and Germany’s healthcare sector, ensuring that the knowledge and connections gained in Baden-Württemberg will translate into lasting collaboration.
The Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg has long specialized in developing international management and leadership programmes, supporting businesses and executives worldwide in building skills, networks, and market access.
