Central Asia is becoming a crucial hub for renewable energy and green hydrogen. In recent months, Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg played a pivotal role in facilitating the establishment of business contacts in these fields and building up bilateral relationships between German companies and companies from Central Asia. Esteemed guests from the worlds of business and politics in Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in on-site training sessions and visited the best practice companies from Baden-Württemberg. Achieving sustainability goals and improving the environment requires increased cross-border business collaborations. Export-Akademie initiated the establishment of a new Center of Excellence for Green Technology Transfer in Kazakhstan. In cooperation with Export-Akademie signed a declaration of intent for green industrialization with a partner from Turkmenistan. Together, large scale green energy and green hydrogen projects will be developed in the coming years.
