EABW Signs MoUs with Andhra Pradesh Government at CII Partnership Summit 2025

Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH (EABW) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to strengthen the global business capabilities of technology-oriented Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in India. The signing of the MoUs took place during the CII Partnership Summit 2025, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in Visakhapatnam from 13 to 15 November 2025.

Through its collaboration with the AP MSME Development Corporation and the MSME Department, EABW will support companies in Andhra Pradesh in strengthening their capabilities to build an international business and establish international networks that are essential for success in global markets. The collaboration covers 3 major areas:

  • Establishment of an SME Technology Transfer Institute
  • Development of Indo-German industry clusters
  • Capacity building in international business development and market entry

We are proud to contribute our 40+ years of experience in developing and implementing export strategies and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in their internationalisation efforts in a global market environment. 

The partnership was announced during the India-Europe Business Partnership Roundtable, which was attended by high-level government officials, global decision-makers and industry stakeholders. The following persons have participated in the panel:

  • Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu,
  • Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan,
  • Director General, CII, Chandrajit Banerjee,
  • Industry leaders including Mr. Amit Kalyani, Mr. Piyush Goyal and Mr. Nara Lokesh,
  • Managing Director of EABW, Prof. PhD. Bertram Lohmüller.

The Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg, together with its Indian partner Indo-Euro-Synchronisation, will play a central role in connecting Indian SMEs to the German and European markets. To this end, structured training programmes, innovation partnerships and market development initiatives will be implemented.

This collaboration is an important step towards strengthening Indian-German business relations and improving the international competitiveness of Indian SMEs.

The initiative is part of our “Global Alliance for Sustainable Technology Transfer”, through which we build sustainable partnerships and create long-term economic value through education, innovation and business cooperation.
