About the Award

Learning from the best green companies

How can entrepreneurs comprehensively reflect on the sustainability of their organisation and better position themselves in the market? With the help of scientific comparative SDG-ESG benchmarking.

The GreenMLA® methodology links the three ESG criteria — Environment, Social, and Governance — with the seven areas of the IMLead® Heptathlon concept for Integrated Management & Leadership. This produces an individual sustainability performance score across 21 management areas in total, compared anonymously against all participating companies.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG criteria form the backbone of the questionnaire, covering every aspect of corporate sustainability your organisation needs to address. Each participating company receives a personalised benchmarking report with a current implementation status and concrete recommendations for further development.

Participation is free of charge. Every participant receives a certificate of participation with seal.

Who can participate?

All companies headquartered in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland are eligible. Winners may use the “Green Management & Leadership Award” title for publicity and will be featured in detail on our media channels.

What is the cost?

There is no processing fee. Every participating company receives a certificate of participation with seal and a customised evaluation report showing current status and development potential.

What methodology is used?

The questionnaire covers all SDG-ESG aspects based on the IMLead® concept of Integrated Management & Leadership. Data analysis enables modern visualisation and practical benchmarking across a wide range of performance indicators.

Where is the award ceremony?

The award ceremony takes place at DigiSustain in Frankfurt, attended by over 100 economic and political decision-makers.
