Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg is currently conducting high impact projects in several African countries as Egypt, Namibia, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia.
The projects touch on rain forest protection, sustainable industrialization, green technologies, green hydrogen and waste to energy. Together with international partners Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg is working on the establishment of a stock exchange for the carbon credit market as well as on integrity standards for the carbon credits. Scientific partner as well as partner for job-integrated training and education is the Pan African Technology Transfer University which is running under the umbrella of Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg.
It was a great pleasure to meet her excellence Ève Bazaiba, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Democratic Republic of the Congo during the Africa Business Forum. At the forum in February 2023 in Addis Ababa also the Acting Executive Secretary of UNECA United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Mr. Antiono Pedro, was met. With both partners it was agreed to lift the Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg projects to the next level of implementation. Framework for all projects on the African continent is our concept “Policy, Legal and Regulatory and Institutional Framework conditions for Green Special Economic Zones” which is successfully approved by UNECA.
